Disney group shot

This my first cosplay, and I'm pretty damn proud of it! I wore it at Ayacon 2011, which was also my first convention.

Ariel is my favourite Disney character, and has been since I saw the film in the cinema as a child. I've wanted to cosplay her for years, and eventually I plan to make every version of her!

Most of the money I spent went on the wig, only around £10 went on fabric as I already had black fabric for the bodice and some shoes that would do. The skirt is made from waterproof fabric! I think you're supposed to make raincoats out of it but it was the perfect colour and seemed kind of appropriate for the character. xD It is a simple circle skirt, which is very good for spinning around like Disney Princess! The top is a more lightweight, floaty fabric and I added pearl buttons onto the cuffs to tie in with the bag which I made to look like a giant pearl.

I also carried around a Prince Eric doll with me all day as I didn't have a real one to take to the con! ~<3
